Teacher-Led Live Instruction Model
Best for: Families who value learning in community, interactive instructional time, live discussions and classroom engagement, and/or want a more traditional classroom experience virtually
Instruction: Teacher-led, live virtual classes Monday through Thursday with consistent faculty and classmates
Independent Assignments: Daily independent assignments are completed in the afternoons and on Fridays then due the next morning
Attendance Tracking: Attend live classes Mon – Thurs and submit independent assignments on-time, Monday – Friday
Flexible Instruction Model
Best for: Independent scholars and families who value self-paced flexibility over live instruction and can dedicate significant time to supporting their child’s education.
Instruction: Course content delivered via instructional videos and self-paced, independent assignments and activities.
Independent Assignments: Scholars complete assignments sequentially within each quarter. All work must be completed and turned in prior to the end of the quarter.
Attendance Tracking: Daily attendance assignment required Mon-Fri.
Criteria for opting into the Flex Model : Scholars must transfer in with and maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA or C average in all core classes. Scholars who are repeating a course or grade level are ineligible to participate in the Flex Model. Scholars coming from a homeschool program or who have no academic progress data/records will be contacted by our Flex Dean or High School College and Career Counselor during the enrollment process for placement
